Default Front end bounce on Fatbob

When I apply my front brake my front end feels like it's bouncing. Tires are new. She rolls fine and all. The brakes work and there is plenty of pad left.
What gives?

I'd check my steering head adjustment and check to make sure the rotor isn't warped.

My '08 had that feeling until I had the steering head adjusted. Bounce went away immediately

I notice you said the tires were new, perhaps the rotor got bent during the tire change. Ask me how I know. I put a dial indicator on the disc and found it that way. I used a big screw driver and gently bent things back true ( within a few thou) and the boing boing on the front end when the brake was applied went away and a smooth stop was re-established

Yes, that's what I had to do on my dirtbike, except with a crescent wrench.
The shop did the steering head on my 32000 kilometer checkup.

I had to run mine down forever... and each time I brought it in they said it wasn't the rotor last time I brought them the whole bike and it turned out to be the rotor. If you don't have a problem until you hit the brakes it is probably the rotor.

So me and a friend put the bike on his stand and spun the wheel. Found the spots where the rotor was rubbing on the pads. Got the crescent wrench on it and it helped a bit. Still bouncing but will try it again.

Warped rotor. Replaced my front rotor on my Night Train a few weeks ago, it was doing the same thing.

Is a warped rotor covered on warranty?
