EBC HH (*double sintered*) they work great for me.., priced better that Lyndalls from what i could find... Never tried Lyndalls but heard a lot of people complain about not working well when wet... the Golds apparently are better in the wet. No issues with EBC yet...

yeah you can buy the lyndall gold for like 36 bucks i think all are good, h.d have given me over 20,000 miles and still work fine, dealer told me the lyndall`s squeak alot and they sell them so they are pretty upfront with what they sell h.d or 4 various brands, all have to meet specific guidelines

My stock pads are really noisy when I am not on the brake. I took aprt my brakes and cleaned the pins, the tension/anti rattle clip/ and the holes in the pads where the pins go through and they are still kinda noisy on my Chrome HD rotors. Plus they dont stop very well even after I deglazed the pads. Has anybody used the Lyndall pads on the chrome 1 piece NON floating rotors? feedback appreciated

I don't see that price for H-D FXD pads. I that price for after market calipers and Z plus.

What is the real difference between the Z and the Gold?

Avoid the Lyndall Z's at all cost! ... unless you want to constantly annoy every dog around you. They squeal like crazy! I hate them. Waste of money. They make less dust, more noise, and don't stop any better than the stock pads. Next time, I'll just go with the OEM pads.

Gold apparently stop better in the wet. Heard from a lot of people that they squeal but less than Z's..I think the squealing in some case is cause by not seating the pads properly from the start.
