SE Race Tuner??

SE Race Tuner??
I did a quick search and wasn't finding anything much useful in regard to thoughts on the SE race tuner. So I thought I would shoot it out to all of you for your thoughts and expertise. I am planning a cam install and stopped in the local shop to price things out with dyno tune etc. Now the dealer is really pushing the SE tuner over what I suggested I was going to go with, which was a Fuel Moto micro tuner. But figured that is a marking thing, and they want the money. But it is $460, is it worth the extra $260?

I went from the micro tuner to the SERT, and got a dyno with the cams. Aside from the obvious performance gains, my bike runs completely different. Smoother all around, no decel popping at all ever, AT ALL. Everything feels more fluid. It runs like you'd expect it to for the price. I'd re buy it again if given the choice.

When I had my Dave Mackie 575L cams installed Drew at Firebreathing Industries insisted I order th SEPRT which I did from out of state since not available in California since he indicated it offered the most adjustability of any tuner available. I also have a Bassani RRII. The bike is a real Hoot to ride. It accerelates hard and smooth with no decel popping. I am extremely satisfied. Keep in mind he had me order it so he was not influenced by making money off what I bought and since I bought it from a buddy's dealership out if state he did not have any motivation other than what was best for my bike. In fact this was the same for all the recommended parts he installed.

I have no cam work or other internal motor work, just Bassani Road Rage pipes and the S&s Stealth stage 1 A/C. Pretty basic stuff and I am having a nightmare of a time getting **** dialed in using the micro tuner. Once I put aside some coin I'm going PC5 and dumping it.
For what you're planning, avoid the micro tuner.
