Sorry to be specific have you guys changed your stock cable lengths to shorter cables and if so which cables did you end up using without risers

Just finishing up this same project and saw this old thread.

I installed the black nightster / xr1200 bars on my 07 FXDB. Used 3-1/2" risers from Drag specialties.

Regarding the cables:

Stock cable lengths on FXDB Street Bob are: throttle = 32-1/2" idle = 31-3/4" clutch = 68-11/16". These are WAY too long for this setup.

New cables I selected and just installed with sportster bars: throttle = 30-3/4" idle = 30-3/4" clutch=66-11/16". Now that I have them on the bike, these cables still seem a bit long, and I'm considering to take them off and go with shorter lengths.

Looks to me like these would fit just right: throttle = 28-1/2" idle = 28-1/2" clutch=64-11/16"
.

For the front brake line, I plan to just buy a 7/16" and 3/8" X AN-3 35-degree banjo fittings, then measure for the needed hose length and buy it from drag specialties.

Bike is not together yet, still doing some additional wiring (adding two powerlets) before I button everything up. But so far I am loving the setup, these bars fit the Dyna perfectly.

Will post pics and parts list as soon as I can.
