Mod. back plate on Ness BS

I'm getting a little bit of oil dripping out of my A/C on to my engine, the Ness back plate is not doing a very good job of venting the oil back into the engine which I understand is
common problem. The oil level is about half way up the dip stick so it's not over filled, so
instead of buying a new breather system I thought first I'd try to modify the back plate
maybe with some hose or something, has anyone tried this? It's always dripped a little
seems it's getting worse, I'm open to suggestions, thanks, Paulie

I run an Ness Big Sucker AC and have no drip problems. Doesn't mean you dont need to remove it and clean it occasionaly though. Just a thought.

Yes I pulled the thing apart and cleaned everything

I know this is not what you were asking but have you tried some "Engine Restore"? If you are having a little blow-by, it may stop that air filter drip, it worked for me. I used half of the (regular for 6 cyl. eng.)can and the crankcase breather, dripping oil, problem quit. I did a complete top end at 94.5k and did this at about 45k. Perhaps your rings never seated 100%---just a thought, because at 1/2 qt down on the dipstick, it should've taken care of the regular a/f drip problem.
