Very sharp,
it compliments the scheme of your bike very well.
What did they hook ya for it, and where from if I may?

I got everything from motorcycle superstore.

Fairing, 2 different size shields, chrome trim piece, side shields, and plates ran $500 shipped.

I already had the HD clamps and spent a few dollars on hardware.

I didn't get the chrome piece, but I spent @ $300 on the Batwing and 11" windshield
and about another $100 for the custom made brackets. I also used the clamps from
my existing HD windshield so I didn't have to buy them new.

After a couple trial ruins, I've ordered a Clearview 14" recurved windshield as I was
getting more head level turbulence than I liked. Reinstalling the MS clear lower deflectors
on the forks helped a lot, though.

FWIW, I'm 5'11", use a Mustang seat with folding backrest which moves me an inch
or so further forward than the stock position, have forward controls, wear full face or
modular helmets 99% of the time (yes, I realize that's part of the problem but I've been
face-planted before in my youth and I'm already ugly enough..) and only experience
noticeable turbulence above 60-65mph.

Since I ride a lot of long-distances and speed limits in the Southwest are up to 80mph,
eliminating the turbulence at high-speed cruise is very important. Coastal riders
probably wouldn't have a problem with MS' mid-sized clear piece.

One the Clearview is here and the weather breaks, I'll post more results.

Another great thread on MS fairings. I ordered the faring with lower deflectors and saving coin for the brackets. I have the QD clamps on the HD shield but I'm thinking I'll get the MS fats / slims brackets so I can sell the HD shield whole. I think the fairing will stay on most of the time anyway.

Looks great, with those bars. Not sure it would look anywhere near as nice if the fairing and bars didnt flow perfectly like that

Got to go on a good test ride today. It was around 37 degrees and we ran 105 miles for a New Years day ride.

The fairing worked good, I did have some minor buffeting (stronger at times) but it wasnt to bad. I had my full face helmet on which was always worse with other shields as far as buffeting goes. I think with a half helmet and some adjustment it will be even better. This was with the short 5 inch shield as well so I figure it would be better with the 9 inch I also got.

I like it enough to get another headlight and get it moved back a little. I will post more pictures once it is done.
