Default Lifted Gas Tank up to do some work...FUEL LEAK

I was lifting my gas tank up to run some wires under it, I lifted it up and saw gas leaking everywhere...got the line that was leaking, the left side of my gas tank where a fuel **** would be, sept mines EFI 2006 Dyna Wide Glide. After the gas was drained out I see where the fuel line would go, but the problem is there is this lil plastic piece that has a blue button on it, you push the blue button and it'll slide off the what I'm guessing is the EFI fuel unit. After you do that you can see it looks like it mates up with the fuel line, but there is no way to really secure it, seems to me its going to leak. Has anyone removed a gas tank off of a 2006 Dyna and know what I'm talking about. Or can show me where I can see a diagram or w/e?

rap, I have removed the fuel tank.

When that line is disconnected there should only be small amount of leakage (a few drops).

Unless you broke something. I think JohnBear mentioned this a few months ago.

When the line is unhooked, there is a chrome ring/sleeve that stays with the tank.
It slides up to release, and back down to secure.

It is a real simple connector. Not sure about the blue button thing.

Maine,

I Also installed the Braiden Fuel line, but I noticed it rubs my Sparkplug Cables , and damaged them, so it ( the fuel line) needs an extra insulation to prevent this...........

I wish I would have read this post earlier, I just broke my fuel line trying to lift the tank. My question is, MaineHD do you have the part number for the braided line you put on? I can only find a braided line up to '05 models.
