Default $170 for 15k service from an indie.

Dealer wants $360 ish, is this the norm when comparing indies vs. dealer cost. This is my first service of the bike? Got two recommendations for this indie, thanks in advance for any comments.

Seems about right to me, most all of the services rendered by the dealer are $300+.

I had my 15000 done for about 230 or so. I get a military discount on parts though. The other area dealer I used to go to charged almost 300. I've learned that prices can vary quite a bit dealer to dealer.

Do the service yourself for $60.00. I have been doing it for 53,000 miles and saved around $2800.00.
