Anyone have experience with the HD brand Dyna low-profile leather seat (HD part # 52378-07? (It's the same one that came stock on the 07 CVO Dyna)
Is it reasonably comfortable for rider and passenger? I would anticipate that +/-200 miles would be the max range I'll go in a day.

Also is the entire upper seating surface leather or just the perforated inserts (I understand all Harley seat side panels are vinyl)

I have that seat and I like it. Just the perforated inserts are leather. Personally I think it's very comfortable BUT your wife/GF will hate it. I think it should be used as a solo seat. The pillion section is narrow and hard and IMHO if you are looking for a 2 up seat this isn't the one. I have gone 400 miles on mine and felt fine. I like the way it sits me down in my bike. It's the seat in my sig pic
