fat front tire for Dyna

Howdy all. sort of new here, just been reading and looking and soaking up the good info. My big question is can I put wider front forks and wider tire on a 2002 dyna lowrider? Have Seen lots of custom applications and a few wide-glide front ends with a wider front tire. I like the fat front end look and want to do some mild customizing. thanks for all your input.

You'll need a wide glide tree kit http://vulcanworks.net/39mm-Wide-Gli...ome-p-297.html ...this is a good resource to start.

I bought a wide glide front end for my bike, and will be installing it soon,, not too hard to do, it's actually a softail front end but will bolt right up.See attached pics of front end i will be installing, i would suggest a 2000 and up front end that way your brake caliper can be reused. If you do use a softail front end , there is one little mod you will need to do, and it;s to cut off the wings as i call them on the lower tree, these act like stoppers on the softail but are in the way for Dynas. You could go with wideglide conversions but you will still have the 39mm fork tubes and not the fatter 41mm.

Hey guys thanks for the input. Robtarra, unfortunately I could not open the pictures. I've got a line on a wide glide front-end and just wanted to make sure it could be done. When you say softail, I'm assuming you mean standard wide glide, not heritage style front forks?
