Is that a wide glide front end ( Triple trees ) on the 48 model ? i want to run the 16 inch tire and rim on my street bob , i guess the trees on the 48 are the same as the wide glide and fatbob ?

 

No they are not the same, the Street Bob has mid glide trees with 49mm fork tubes
The 48 has mid glide style trees, with 39mm fork tubes
There is a thread on here about this conversion....Ill see if I can find it for you.

I would think a Fat Bob front end would be easier and look better with the 49mm forks and dual brakes. I just don't like the Fat Bob rear.

 

Xbones 16" front rim laced to the SB'S hub,fit the 130 tire a la Xbones,custom fender and Bobs yer Uncle...fits with the standard Street Bob midglide forks.... just !
