Well Sanford bikefest was a pretty good time . I saw a lot of nice bikes (babes were lacking) next weekend for that. I thought for there second year they would have had more vendor and things going on . I guess they'll get there someday. Weekend weather was super for riding except for the 3 hrs. I sat at Harley dealership Sunday getting a $100.00 nail out of my rear tire. Lucky I was near a trailer that had air compressor to get air for short ride to get repair.
I hope this week goes fast coming weekend @ Daytona should be super. What a busy few weekends Roscoe's chilli cookoff in to weeks also. Great to be in Fl. this time of year. Stay safe
Mike was right about the constructionon 95. I live south of Jax and ride to Daytona almost weekly. Be careful changing lanes as there is quite a difference in the old and new pavement level. Quite a few cuts and gouges in the hiway also. Left lane is 80 mph and above, I ride out there because life begins at 80, but if you aren't comfortable stay to the right. On your way back north there is usually a speed trap set up about 20 miles north of Daytona and they use laser. (don't ask me how I know)
Went through Daytona yesterday, and the partying has already started. Destination Daytona was very busy (already) and the streets were packed with beautiful bikes. This could turn out to be the busiest Biketoberfest in years. (Need to get your spot at your favorite bar early) Weather reports are good for Thursday, possible rain on Friday, Saturday and Sunday clear.
