Default fuel gauge issue...

I rode my 2010 WG twice since pulling it out of storage and I am having a little issue with the fuel gauge. When I turn the big over the "Lo" sign comes up on the display, but after I ride it for a bit it will eventually pick up and display how many miles I have until empty. It has never done this in that past. Its not a real big deal other then just a minor annoyance. Any idea whats going on?

When I swapped speedos it did that until I was on the 2nd tank afterwards. Think it takes a bit for the ECU to figure out the changes. You may have the same issue if you had the battery off.

Give it a tank or two of fuel and see if its OK after that.

This! Put my speedo back on a few weeks ago. halfway through the 3rd tank of gas now and the ECU is still callibrating the mpg's.

Don't worry, it should fix itself.

Sounds good. Now, I just need the temp to come up above 30 degrees again so I can burn up some gas!
