Depending on where the speed sensor is on your bike, you may also need to replace it for teh different belt sprocket.

I highly recomend the 30t, if you take your time and read your manual it is a breeze, I plan to do a full alingment tomorrow night on my bike per the manual. I get a helluva wobble, at 80ish.
So to do the Andrews 30T pully you need:

PRIMARY DRIVE LOCKING TOOL

I wonder if the 131 tooth belt will reach around the 70 tooth pulley from the 2006 bike? If so thats what I would do if I had an 07 up with the smaller rear pulley.

you need the locking bar and a big *** socket to take the pulley bolt off, you could do it without the locking tool. I did my second one without it.

You can make a locking tool, I sure wouldn't pay for one.

I just dont want to damage anything while i'm cranking away on the nut.

Someone posted on one of the threads you can use the 30T pulley off the 2011 HD Tri-Glide and it is cheaper, somewhere around 65.00 ???

P/N 83595-11

That only makes sense if you do not remove/install the sprocket, chain and clutch as one complete assembly, something the service manual indicates is necessary. I realize that were you to undertake this by yourself it would be difficult to remove/install these as one, so my presumption is that the wire is ONLY to remind the installer which way the chain is to rotate?
