Use this mounting block from HD it will double the price of the light LOL part #69611-06
You will like the look moves it up and back on a Dyna. I have it installed on mine.

Thanks to both for the P/N.
Do you know what bike this came off of or is it a catalog part? Zanotti's calls it a Tall Mount "kit" but I could not find it in a search of the HD catalog?
Found it searching the inter tubes.
Does it really move the lamp up, from the "picture" it looks shorter than the stock Dyna block? No kidding about doubling the price of the lamp! 35.00 plus shipping, ouch.

It is a Harley number and they even said it was a tail light mount bracket but it works. Not sure about the stock mount but it is 1" taller and about 1" back compared to the mount that came with the light off eBay.

I finally received this mount today. It was on back order at the dealer so I finally bit the bullet and payed a few extra bucks for it (because of shipping) by ordering it on ebay. Saved the sales tax though I guess. I'm busy as hell at work right now (13 hour days, and I literally only have 2 days off in April), so I don't know when I'll install it. Hopefully before Sunday, because I'm supposed to be going for the first good ride of the season. Thanks to both of you guys for turning me on to this mount!

Before you install this mount could you write down the dimensions and post them. H x W x L and from the base and one edge to the center of the lamp mounting hole and from the same edge the center of the threaded hole.
Thanks

I apologize but I didn't see this post until after I installed the mount. I took a close up pic so it'll give you an idea of how it sits though.
I am really glad I installed this mount. My headlight finally looks like it was meant to be there. I liked it before but now I love it. Now I'm going to look into a frenched trim ring for it. And of course, here's a few pics :
