Default How do you cover license plate mounting holes

I got a little paint crack on the left corner of the rear fender, I am going to send it out for a paint job, will get a side mounted license plate as well. Should I get the painter to fill all the unused holes? This SB is my solo ride, will not carry a passenger. I can get a fender bib and a kuryakyn cover for the license plate holes, what do you think? I would like to get an idea how you people cover the holes. Thanks! Alex

This is how I covered mine, JP Cycles. If having fender repainted I would have them filled.

I had the body shop weld/fill the license plate and taillight holes when I added a side mount tail/license bracket. Clean look. My 2 cents.

If you are getting the bike painted I would have them fill the holes, get rid of the rear brake and use a run/brake/turn module. When my bike needs new paint that's what I would do. For now though here's what I got.

Default Video which show how they fill holes

Here is a video which shows how they fill the holes in sheet metal. Does not seem to be that difficult. I wonder how much it would cost to fill the three holes in the fender?
