Default Am I supposed to leave the key fob on the key chain?

That damn key is rubbing the frame, scuffed mark around the ignition cylinder. Can I keep the fob in my pocket while I am riding? Thanks Alex

Yes, you can keep the keyfob in your pocket or what ever as long as it is near the bike.

You know what I'm saying, keeping the fob in my pocket instead of keychain. LOL

Get a Wide Glide style switch, then you can put the key in your pocket too....

Call me a dumb ok, I have another 06 softail, the key fob with button, I never had to hang it on the key chain while I am riding, needless to say console switch on/off. I thought the key fob only work when it is close to the ignition switch, some vehicle has a pick up sensor wrapped around the ignition switch to pick up the key fob signal. Yeah, I am sorry to ask such a dumb question, my bad.
My apologies ok
