I picked up some Drag mounts to move my front signals from the bars to the lower tree, I found the part number in another thread on here somewhere but they don’t fit.

The profile of the tree is pretty different to the mounts, as in this pic:

Does anyone know which mounts I need to fit these trees?

I think for 49mm fork tubes you need #69433-08A. Unfortunately there is huge difference in cost between what you have now though.

This kit does say 39/49 and includes longer bolts but clearly that shape isn’t going to fit.

As you say, bit of a difference in price, I think the Drag ones were about a tenner!

 

The piece pictured is only a small bracket to mount your signal to. You’re saying it won’t fit but I’m not sure what you mean by that.

The signal bolts to the bracket and the bracket will bolt to your triple tree. Am I not seeing something here?? If you have the hardware I do not see any issues.

 

It’s just the wrong shape on the inner edge (that is supposed to fit flush with the tree). I had some on my ‘93 and the curve of the bracket was identical to the profile of the trees so it fitted flush.

These aren’t even close to flush, especially around where the pinch bolt goes through.
