Default Pictures of windvest on a street bob

I have been seeing people searching for pics of windvests. I know alot of people hate windshields. I've logged alot of miles without one. Ran across a cheap one on eBay and figured I might give it a whirl. I think it will open up traveling distances and destination spots. Will be there only for long trips and interstate riding. I will have the mounts black soon.

Paint that hardware black and it would blend nice with your bike. Looks pretty damn good to me.

I had a windvest on my sportster and when I traded the bike in I took off the windvest and put it right on my dyna. I hate the look of windshields but the windvest looks like its part of the bike. By the design, it does as much as a bigger windsheild. Harley tried to buy out the company but Doug wouldn't sell it to them.

So, it really does make a difference?

I have a windvest and a HD compact. I liked the windvest until one day I noticed the scratches that the clamps were putting on my handlebars. The wind protection is ok but not as good as the HD compact and imho it does not look like its part of the bike. When you want it off you have to use a wrench and even after its off it leaves two big ugly clamps on the bike. The HD compact QD is much better and even looks better in my opinion plus it provides much better coverage on the highway. I would think long and hard before spending that much on a windvest. Wish I hadn't in the first place.

I didn't spend much on it. 84 dollars and 12 shipping. Came with 1 inch bar mounts and riser mounts.
