Alright, I have made my decision, good or bad, right or wrong, here is what I've decided to do.
I bought the Ultima 58mm inverted front end from Jireh +5 rake and +2 length, which is actually +4 over what is currently on my bike since it seems that the fxdl is -2 OEM.
I bought a 21x2.15 mammoth spoke wheel from DNA, chrome hub and nipples, black spokes and rim from KC international.
Got my handlebars coming from BR's Custom Bars. K9's built to my specs and measurements powder coated black with stainless steel spikes
add to that new headlight, rotors, a motorcycle jack from J&S jacks, and all the little odds and ends, and maybe in a couple of weeks when everything shows up well find out the good bad and the ugly...
