I would hate to bump a 3 year old thread....but after reading I was intrigued to say the least. I would love to get "that look" on my Low Rider.
So I went on Ebay. They are selling a ton of these headlight bars (and very cheaply I might add....(and I know..it just means they are cheap(lol)))
Seems all I would have to do is drill two more holes in the lower triple to mount them up. Wire them in & done.
I know I would have to get a larger headlight as the normal one probably wouldn't look right.
Any thoughts or ideas?
For those of you who would like a lightbar for your Superglide (there aren't many out there and the few I've found are really expensive) and don't want to have to fab it yourself, I found this one:
I am thinking seriously about buying it. I think it would compliment my new Cobra II headlight very nicely. It also appears that my windshield would still work with this lightbar. Only problem is it does not come with turnsignals.
What brand and model # seat are you running?

Update: The light bars I found on Ebay w/ internal wiring would not work. The mount is nearly 6 inches & my lower triple is only 5. There is not enough material to trim the small mounts.
The others I have found would work but I would have to trim off the sides of the mount but there would be enough material left to get a bolt through.
Still unsure if I want to deal with it.
Why not just get the HD kit? I know their stuff can be pricey, but I've never had anything not fit from HD.
