Default Question on accessory plug for Fat Bob-searched and can't find

the answer. I want to add a simple accessory plug to allow me to use my car charger for my phone. I saw the "how to" posts and don't either understand it or it does not apply to my Fat Bob. I saw the connector part number 70264-94A and called the dealer on that part, but they state that is just a pigtail connector with a Deutsch connector on one end and splitting into 2 on the other. They claimed I would have to fabricate something on my own to get an accessory plug on my bike.

If you pull off the left panel covering the fuse block, you will notice an area in the upper left corner were there is space/room to locate the plug socket in the panel cover, with just enough room for it to fit..........I have my cigarette lighter installed there.

I went to Harbor Freight they have one that you can plug in to your battery tender. It's about $5.
