The 2011 Fat Bob has 29* rake in the frame, the 2011 Wide Glide has 34* rake in the frame.

Look at the parts book or check the microfiche online, it's all in there.

Now we are getting some where!!! I don't have a parts book or microfiche, but it would be great if the Dyna forum could get the info and do a sticky thread. This question gets asked quite often and they all end up with "I thinks" and "I heards". I would really love to see this written down so that the next 600 threads that start can be sent in the right direction. I for one am only guessing from info I have gathered, and can not back anything up with facts so I would love to be able too have some kind of reliable reference. Who's got it???

But in my 2006 parts book it has frame part numbers as such
47463-06BHP as 29 deg rake

47464-06BHP as 34 deg rake

Then there are 3 different tree's,
One of the three is listed for the FXDLI only = low rider
and One for the FXDWGI only= wide glide
and One for all the other Dyna's

Owning a 2006 WG I can assure you it has a 34deg rake in the neck and had 2 deg in the tree's for a total of 36 deg of rake. But now just have the 34 deg in the neck 0 rake and 0 offset in the tree's.

I know this is an old thread, but I have been researching for a while. My theory is this. If I wanted to decrease the rake in my 2012 WG I could use 3 deg caps in the frame, but reversed to take away 3deg and Fat Bob trees with 0deg rake totaling a rake of 31 deg with minimal change to my trail. Is this correct?

yes............it could be done.

The bottom raked cup has the neck stop built into it. With out it or turned around backwards it would allow trees to turn until they came into contact with something(like your gas tank).

while possible this does not seem prudent.

get a frame with 29 degrees and put the wideglide trees with 1.5 rake to get what your looking for.

Expensive to buy another frame, or find someone willing to trade.

I have a straight clear legally titled Fatbob frame in my name and would love to trade it for a wideglide frame.

I would do that but I am still paying for my bike. I thought the facotory stop was on the trees and neck. I know mine is.

Yes, I know this is an old thread.
'08 parts book shows 3 different frames, two of which are 29 degrees and the other that is 34 degrees. The FXDF has a different part number than the other 29 deg frames and the WG is the 34 deg frame.
