Forget those 2 models. Why did they stop making the FXDXT Sport and the Sporty 1200S?

To make room for the switchback mountain dragqueen..

Dont worry they will be back aner lower and super'er than before..

They will just copy some of the Lowriders from this site.!!!

Our factory rep told us the Low Rider was dropped to keep the Dyna price points less than Softails, but then they wander into that same territory with the price of the new Switchback, so take it for what you will.

We had a hard time selling Super Glides, as most people would rather pony up the extra $1,000 for the Super Glide Custom with the rear pegs, two-up seat, nicer dash/speedo and chromed-up motor.

Both model names are iconic enough that I'm sure somewhere down the road they will both appear in Harley's lineup again. It happened to the Wide Glide, just less chrome and a lower price.

Big +1

Both cool bikes for sure but...

In my opinion the LR was insanely overpriced compared to the FXDC and the FXD wasn't discounted enough compared to the FXDC.

Just sayin.

Cheers,

Tom

yea, I bet they get a ton of interest and maybe a couple years they will "release" it again.
Just a way to drive the market...
