124" TC or new 120R TC
#11
Baxter,
i never paid $10,000 but by time i bought all the parts and paid the labour it is around that price.
Crank $1500
Labour to rebuild inc welding crank etc $1500
RV pistons and barrels $1000
Dan Baisley racing heads $1500
cams,oil pump etc etc
Plus original engine
Shaved Ice,
HDs aint as popular over here as they are in the US, performance parts in stock would be a dream. I think i would stand a better chance with the 120R but probably not much in it.
Thanks for all the advice i have some thinking to do.
Out of courosity what do you think i would get for mine??
Many thanks Gaz

Why did you build the motor if you're not going to run it? $10,000 is a lot to spend and then not even use it.
BTW, I have a custom built 117" and have had no problems at all. The only problems I've had on the bike are with the genuine HD parts such as the stator, regulator, front master cylinder.
Enjoy the bike.
