Default Trans & Primary Fluid Change '07 Street Bob question

When draining and filling on both of these, does the service manual say as far as if it should be level or on the stand? Thanks for the help.

Would also be interested in what guys are using for oil in the primary and Trans, brand and weight.

Cheers.

Ok good to know on the stand for both.

Anyone have a service manual that says what amount goes in the Tran, and primary?

I've ran into a few guys that are using this (20W-50) in their engine, trans, and primary. Thoughts?

26 oz in primary, 32 oz in trans. I went with a gear oil in the trans, 75-90 Royal Purple and Trick Shift ATF in the Primary.

So a 90 gear oil will work in Trans? Something like this work? Or is it specific motorcycle gear oil?

if you put a qt in the primary you will have trouble finding nuetral... ask me how I know?
