I hung my guardian bell from the small hole on the front fender- Hit a severe bump at about 65mph and thought my front end came apart due to the large noise. Pulled over and checked everything for loose parts- Nothing! Tried an intentional higher speed over a speed bump- Same thing- Dawned on me that the pewter bell was wacking the fender. Time to move it--where do you hang yours?

 

Under the rear brake control mount.

 

Mine is hanging near the brake side mid control on a bracket for the stock exhaust that was too much of a pain to remove.

 

I tied mine to the clutch cable underneath the motor.

 

I had mine in that same spot till I noticed it chipped the paint off the frame.

 

Interesting--does it ever drag when cornering hard? my stock bracket is still there, I just thought it was a little low??

on my old scooter i had it hanging on the very bottom of the frame by the jiffy stand....never had a problem with it there at all...

 

Same place, I figure the closer to the ground it is the less likely a gremlin is to get into the rest of my bike and when it dies and falls out the impact won't cause a giant pot hole to emerge in the road!!!

I have had to have it replaced because those damn gremlins are getting smart and taking off with it!
