Default 2000 fxds-con vs 2001 fxdxt

What are the differences from the 2000 dyna convertable vs the 2001 t-sport?

Is it just the different style fairing and side bags or just the front fairing? Rest the same? both had the 88 motor right?

Check out these links:

Dyna Super Glide T-Sport 2001

2000 Dyna convertible

Main difference IMO:
convertible has a longer wheelbase (66.1 inch vs 63.1 inch) due to another rake (28 degree rake fork)

Depends on your style of riding:

Convertible is better for touring....

t-sport is better for fast cornering....

Is that basically because of the rake angle?

The FXDX and FXDX-T are the best Dynas ever made. Fully adjustable front and rear suspension and dual discs up front. I'm a little biased though.

The FXDX-T is adjustable for dampening and preload for both the forks and the rear shocks. No other bikes used this suspension. It does sit a little higher also. I know that my rear shocks are 13.6" and the front fork length is like 32-32-1/2"

Does the fxdx use the same suspension, just no bags and fairing and running lights?

All the t-sports the same 01-03... with the exception of more chrome on the engine in 03?
