Hey guys, quick question about the chrome battery cover. That band isn't part of the cover right? The only reason I ask is that the photo shows the band and the description says something like "one piece".

I would suspect that the band snaps in just like the others but I just wanted to confirm. I'm having my band painted and I don't want to order the chrome cover if I won't be able to snap my band in place on it. I figured it was easy enough to ask here and remove all doubt.

hi kevin yes it just snaps off don,t try pulling it off use handle of screwdriver and apply pressure to the lugs poking through the inside of the cover to pop them out.are those springers standard i really want to do the same thing to my bob, do you have a part number,are they off a softail i noticed the steering heads are differrent to the bob.does it handle as well as stock.
