Switchback
Harley seemed to do a good job with the Electra Glide Revival
(Not saying I'm a huge fan - Wasn't in the 70's either when those
bikes had those HUGE white seats and white bags etc.)
The Revival does seem to be popular though.
Anyhow, my point. Do you suppose if Harley would have put that
much thought into the Switchback doing even more of a retro thing,
it would have been more successful ?
Spoke wheels (as an option maybe?) Or a more traditional style wheel.
(The regular 9 spoke mags ?)
Exh that didn't shake. They should have addressed the vibration issue.
I've probl ridden 6 or 8 Dyna's over the years and none of em shook like
the Switchback I took out, I think the Switchback really captures the FLH look.
The 103 ran like a tall horse. Gotta say that for it. And every bit as
comfortable as my Heritage. WAY more nimble though.
It should have been much more of a hit. Maybe Harley was just hurtin'
at the time.

Maybe the previous owner addressed the vibration issue with mine. There was an aftermarket slip on exhaust on the bike when i got it and i've since changed it myself. I don't have any vibration issues. I agree with the comments above though. If it didn't have those issues, maybe it would have been more popular.
I love how nimble it is, the power to weight ratio is epic. Stripping it down or running it with the bags and TKY fairing. For me its the best of both worlds.
