Cheapest one I know of is the old school mad max EMGO bmw type fairing. $79 from JC Whitney.

Of course if you want something fancier you'll have to spend a little more money. The Arlen Ness Dyna fairing looks pretty good IMO. Amazon has the ready for paint ones for $260.

Kinney Cycles has the gloss black for $312

I think that was a making wind, breaking wind joke.

On the bikes I've ridden with them the quarter fairing didn't do much for wind blockage unless I was in a full cafe tuck or they were obscenely large, YMMV. Even my 88 GSXR's fairing didn't make a whole lot of difference on or off for wind blocking. It would be cool if they made a Dyna fairing with a double bubble like the aftermarket sport bike ones. The Wind Vest works really well for a lower profile windshield. Not the coolest looking thing though.

I have a Rifle Roadster with the 15" windshield. It's between the Ness and FXDXT in size and I like it

best price for the HD fairing would most likely be zanottis. They sell everything about 20-25% off H-D list price.

The rifle roadster is by far the best as far as fit and wind protection are concerned. 15" windshield here also. That EMGO fairing is cheap(i have one on my XR1200) but they only fit 7" headlights.

I think a 7" headlight would look cool on a dyna with the EMGO (seen them on lots of Triumphs and Sportsters and always thought they looked cool) but my taste runs more mad max cafe racer on steriods than the modern "club bike" look, especially with the proliferation of SAMCRO fanboys out there.

If budget was my primary concern I would find an inexpensive 7" and run that. There's also a lot of street fighter, cafe racer and sport bike take-offs options for 1/4 fairings, but that stuff will require a lot of fab work to make it work and in the end probably won't be cheaper than just buying a Ness, HD or whatever fairing. Cheap can get expensive pretty quick
