Does that mean if I do it myself it will void it?

I know the dealer needs to flash the ECU to get the mixture the same, but I don't thnk that is going to help when I get the coin for pipes. A new power controller is the way to go for flexibility down the road, and a richer mixture, but does this void the warranty as well? My Dyna was delivered 8/11.

Thanks!

Good job, wish I had the skills to work on mine.
This round air cleaner cover has a good air flow and works just fine in bad weather.

If in fact you did (I don’t know?) void your warrantee the money you
saved by doing your own work would sure help compensate if not
cover anything that goes wrong under the warrantee.

I like that cover also. I will get one later. I'm gonna run with the open filter for now. And as far as working on bikes this is my first one but with the Exhaust I figure how hard is it to wrench 4 nuts. Plus it saved me tons.

Nothing he did was permanent, it can all go back to stock. As far as I know most EFI tuners can be removed and the MoCo will never know. It's also a good idea to keep your stock pipes in case a LEO decides to be a ***** and give you a "fix it" ticket which requires inspection to verify you went back to OEM.

Perryross; Stage 1 upgrades are simple. If you can ride a Harley you are capable of doing this yourself. You will need a set of Torx sockets but every harley owner should have them. If you ever run iinto probles HDFORUMS is here to help.

Nice scoot! I'm pretty sure that if the mods you made voided your warrantee then there are ALOT of owners out there who are screwed!
