Default A little more chrome

I just changed out my tappet covers and the upper and lower rocker boxes for chrome ones. Man do they look good. Got the tappet cover used for E-Bay for $36. The upper and lower rocker boxes came from E-Bay used for $68. Chrome rocker cover bolts $26 E-Bay and chrome tappet bolts $18 E-Bay. Love a good deal.

$28 each plus tax. These are like new and $36 shipped for both. The tappet bolts are only about $4 less tham the dealer. The dealer gets $38 plus tax for rocker cover bolts. Got the gaskets for $30 shipped from E-Bay. I have a total of $178 for all.

How hard was the swap? I was thinking of doing the same. Did you have to replace any gaskets?

It was not hard at all but I do a lot of race car work also. You will need new gaskets and just take you time you can do it. My bike has not been to a dealer or indy sense I got it. I just like doing my own work. Just built a 598" engine for our race car and dynoed it last week.
