FXDXT questions
 

I'm looking to purchase an FXDXT, and would like it to be as close to stock as possible. I've found one about 400 miles away and I'm looking for some opinions. I'm going to attempt to attach some pictures that the seller has provided to me.

Nice bike, my friend has the same one, and your looks pretty stock except for the floorboards on the rear, everything else seems stock including the fully adjustable rear shocks that came only on those fxdx-t and fxdx models

I'm interested in knowing what doesn't appear to be stock and any comments on the condition. The pictures aren't as high resolution as I was hoping for. Some people just don't get it.

Looks pretty much stock, expect the forward pegs, rear floor boards and other minor things.

Can't really tale the condition from the shots other than its pretty clean. It has the main things for a FXDXT - fairing and bags. The exhaust looks stock from what I can see.

Looks really good and mostly stock. As others pointed out, a couple of bolt ons, but nothing missing. The pipes are SE, but might only be slip ons. I know the FXDX came with black pipes, not sure if the T kept the chrome ones though. A little over 8,000 miles is good too. How much are they asking. If the price is within guidelines, I say jump on it. Now that I've added a touring seat, backrest, saddlebags and detachable windshield, I wish I git the T sport that was for sale for $1,000 more than what I paid for mine.

What year? I would hit him with $7,000 and see what he says. Bring cash too. It's hard for someone to turn down an offer when you have cash in hand. I got my bike for $900 less than asking that way and the asking was already below book value.

These are the stock pipes on my 2004 FXDX, so at least some came with chrome.

It's a 2001. This is going to have to be a sight unseen purchase. Probably find someone on uShip to pick it up. Actually a little past my comfort level, but I think it's everything I'm looking for. I wanted Vivid black, close to stock, and I if it wasn't going to have stock exhaust, the SE2 baloney cut mufflers would be my first choice.

Mileage on this 10+yr old machine? $7800 seems very high.....
