Default rear rim question keep coming. = vrod?

can i use a 18x5.5 rear rim off a vrod or rocker. what would be needed.

I know I am asking a lot of repeat questions about rear rims.

ie... fat bob, street glide and now vrod. I am just wondering because flea bay always has lots of different deals and I would like to have options if possible on a rear rim.

so it continues .............. whats needed to make it work?

It would be nice if there was either a sticky or a link to a site that has rim info. I know I need 3/4" bearings for mine, but beyond that, I don't know. I know that some years have 1" and some have 25mm. One of them can be swapped with the 3/4" though. Also, hub widths. If there was a way to look at this, it would be easy to break down interchanges easily. I know it would help many.

an 18x5.5 v rod wheel can be done....................I did.
the rocker is an 18x8 and will take a wider swingarm and offset kit in tranny.
look for a wheel specific to your bike...I wished I had.
