The only wires to the headlight are white (high beam), yellow (low beam) and black (ground).
hite and yellow are both switched wires and useless for connecting a radio.
I'd stick to the options I posted previously.
I would pull the headlamp pug out of the neck and verify this, maybe things changed at the plug between 07 and 10. On my 2010, the plug has the White, Yellow and Black on the head lamp side of the plug, but the frame side also has the orange/white switched power 12v wire, so four wires into the plug but only three out to the light. If you bike also has this, to could run a fused constant from the battery and the switch power to the fourth pin location on the head lamp side of the plug with maybe a second QD closer to the radio incase you need to remove it.

Easy peazy lemon squizy. Reroute the wires to the other side and stick the add a fuse in the accessory fuse slot. That will shut your radio off when your bike is off. No need for a switch. I find it saffer on the life of my battery.
Plus, will never use my bike radio for tunes while it is parked. I have a million (my wife counted) other bluetooth speakers at home I can use for that purpose. lol
