6' and I like the mids as well. I did add highway pegs for the longer rides so that I can stretch out on occasion. I find myself placing one foot on the mids and one on the highway pegs alot of the time.

I just put forwards on mine a couple of weeks ago but left the mid pegs. So far I like the forwards but still use the mid pegs some too.

I did the same thing. I don't like to shift or brake from the mid location, however, I do find myself with my feet all over the place....forwards, mids or even one of each.

I'm thinking of just putting some pegs in the mid location just as a different footing position. Sometimes I just like riding with my legs bent verses all stretched out on the forwards.

I'm doing this as well. I had forwards put on my FXDC when I bought it, but have the mid mounts. I've got some 5" extended pegs ordered to put on the forwards & when they arrive I'm going to put the mid mounts on and put the factory pegs there so I have another foot position to use. I love the forwards, but the mids will be nice when I want to move my feet around.

Did you ever get a set? I have a set of reduced forwards.

I sometimes ride on the highway with my feet on the passenger pegs... But I have low bars.

I just swapped over from forward to mid controls on my fat bob. One of the good decisions I have made. lol
5'9 on a good day but really 5'8 1/2" I had a reduced reach kit but it never felt right. Now with the mids
I feel like I am on a motorcycle again.

Hey man, I just picked up a Street Bob with forwards. I came from a Sporty with mids. I need to put mids on the Dyna. My questions are; Did you drill the outer primary for the shift shaft and did you re-use the shift shaft from the forwards? The dealer I got the bike from gave me the list of "required" parts. I looked up the mid control kit and don't see a new shaft, Thanks
