Okay I'll stop being an ***, some people just drive me mad.

I have the 2012 Dyna Wide Glide with 103"
Performance Machine Air Cleaner
Thunderheader Exhaust, heat wrapped
TW-555 Cams
SE Tuner
Dyno

Got me to 92 HP. Any suggestions to brake that 100 HP barrier? I know head work, sounds expensive though, I have already spent enough.

Thanks fellas, ride safe.
If you ship your heads to Bigboys...if i remember, you can do the necessary machining for ~$500. milling the heads to increase compression, cc the heads, port/polish.

Per their site:

Port-$299
cc heads - $25
mill $70

So...for under $400 (minus shipping) you should be able to get what you want.

Just for the record, it's not a "holyier than though" thing, it's a lack of need to to take a tape measure to bed.

Drag mentality rules...Power to weight, rear wheel punch.
All of us on the strip know an extra 20 horses ain't cool if it breaks the perfection your rear bologna is putting out.

As far as you allowing other people to dictate to you on how you feel, you should have taken that up with your therapist.

As far as the money issues, you should talk with the wife for more spending money (allowance).

You have not stated how much all that performance work cost you, which I am quite sure was more than what you expected leaving you a little disgruntled about the whole thing.

Hell, a lot of us are running 96cu.in. motors with better numbers than that. I know mine is.

Just so you know there are quite a few machine shops in the valley that do excellent head work. I haven't been in the area since the mid 90's, so I am not up to-date on who is still around.

If that huge motorcycle salvage yard is still on Broad Street in South Phoenix, just check with them and see who is still in the area for this type of work. Bought lots of parts from them back in the day, and you will run into just about every builder in the area looking for that odd ball part. They should steer you in the right direction (if you are the caliber of person that can fit in) without standing out like a sore thumb.

Enjoy the adventure, even if you do live in Gilbert.
Ps: is the Copper Coin still in business or did they close it down?

[QUOTE=nathanw;9571665]Sounds like you're more interested in bench racing than you are in a good street build so why not just lie and say you have 100HP, it will make you feel better and wont cost you a dime.[/Q

Hahahaha Good advice

Talk to Scott a Hillside or Kirby at VeeTwin performance. Both site sponsors and both can do your headwork for not too much. Much less than you spent on your cam work and less than most exhausts. That and a good tune should get you what you want.

went thru it with my dyna.... the dyno sheets on the forums are usually touring bikes and they come with a bigger throttle body stcok. when i first did my 107 no heads stock throttle body , i was at 95hp 111tq...changed to R&R heads and HPI 55m TB. now im uparound 108hp 118tq. the dyna comes stock with 46mm TB...thats where ull see a lower number.... but as ur cams/head work goes.... scott at hillside told me my 555's love 10:6 compression and that the " bolt in" 555 is a great cam with head work.. my head work cost around 1000... more power + more money
