the 20w50 is the v twin.... you can get mobil 1 15w50 in the gallon jug and alot of guys run it but i use the v twin 20w50 ...

OK, just making sure. I put the VT Mobil 1 in my primary and trans awhile back and am fixing to do the crankcase with the same next.

I usually wipe the case surfaces dry of any oil and the gasketdry prior to reassembly, using this method the I used the same gasket multiple times.

Gasket by itself is fine. But I do have to ask why you're pulling the cover to change oil, unless you're doing some inspection at specific time intervals... then I understand.

Echo: Mobile-1 Vtwin 20/50 in crankcase and primary, full synthetic mobile gear lube 75/140 in the tranny.

Stop using that crappy HD / Citgo made ****.
