. . . well, I just sold a Forty Eight and bought a Street Bob. Comfort wise - no comparison.

Get some apes for it or at least some riser spacers to lift the bars a couple extra inches. The stock seat ain't bad. It's a great bike overall. I've had mine for 2+ years now and I love it. To answer your question, a couple hundred miles in a day is very doable. We're not talking about a couch on wheels here so if that's what you're looking for, check out a touring bike. If you decide on the Fatbob, this forum is where to find info on mods. Nobody buys a Harley and leaves it stock anyway.

Dont know how it will ride compared to a WG but ive done a few 500 mile days on mine with no problem and i would thing the ride would be pretty close plus mine has stock fat bob bars so its even closer i would say

The stock fatbob seat is really not bad. I've rode 500 mile day also and no issues. Installing the taller risers though really helped me. I have a solo streetbob seat I use also and it's not that great for long rides.

i have a street bob with a mustang seat and forward controls, i have no issue going 5-700 miles in a day. In my book, the mustang seat and higher bars is what makes it so comfortable.

to me it is a couch on wheels.

then again, i used to do 500 mile days on my 883 sportster, and after that you were tired and beat up.

Nobody can answer that question but you, just go ride and see what happens to you, everyone is different.

I have seen guys on here say there is no way anyone could do an Iron Butt with apes, I have done it. I have read about a guy doing 30k in 35 days, I don't think I could ever do that, it's all about you and what you personally are capable of.

Actually with the speed limits now Iron Butts have gotten a lot easier. I did my first one on a sporty when the speed limits were only 55. I would think that it would be easier with apes. Have done a few back to back 7-800 mile days on this bike without a hitch.

I agree, endurance on a bike is 30% bike and 70% the rider, it's all about what you can handle, the bike will keep on rolling, provided you take care of it.
