i got a 2" tank for from jackyl for my 2011 street bob. just to clarify, do I need to remove the hose/tube connecting the two tanks to install my lift or is that just for the 3" tank lift? i believe i read on here that you don't but the instructions include are super clear. thanks.

 

stock crossover tube will have plenty of length for the 2" lift and should not need to be removed.

 

Just installed my 2inch tank lift from Jackyl and did not have to disconnect or replace the crossover line.

 

Just got a 1 1/2" for my Deuce and was hoping not to have to take the crossover hose off but unfortunately I just don't have enough slack. Am waiting to go on reserve to do it.
