Biker's Friend Saddle Bag

It's not really a saddle bag, is it? It's more of a roll.

Got one for Christmas and this thing is great! Has plenty of space and installs/de-installs in seconds. The best part is the backrest and lumbar support that are included with the L and XL models. I rode 500 miles on Wednesday and was more relaxed than I've ever been. Now I understand why so many riders install back supports on their bikes.

I prefer a narrower, more modern look on my Dyna and IMHO, most saddle bags detract from that. This bag maintains the look I prefer and is just as functional. Thanks mom!

how's the quality? - is it all genuine leather? Does it move around at all, on the seat, once you've tied it down? What do you tie it to? Do you know if the large fits a full face helmet?

Pics attached. Pardon the dirt. I had a PGR ride today after torrential floods last night in Dallas.

Yes. All leather. Smells great![&:] It stays very secure using bungee cords that wrap around the rear turn signals. It also comes with nylon strapsand oversized re-usable zip ties intended as back-ups in case the stretch cords fail. As the pic below illustrates, it holds my full-face dirt bike helmet. This is the large. The XL is the same diameter, only wider. The lock on the rear view pic on the left is a trigger lock for a pistol. I run it through the D ring on the bag and the sissy bar mount. Someone could empty the bag, but the lockmight deter them taking the bag itself.

I also like the fact that I can attach it to my luggage rack if I'm riding two-up.

I have been wanting to get one of those for awhile, i bought a kuryakyn bag that is similar but after a few months it has colapsed. How sturdy is the bag, is that center piece solid. Im not completly sure but i dont think that it is leather i believe that it is fake but suppposed to be way better.

This is from there web page. While the outer material that surrounds the inner core looks like leather, it is actually a high grade synthetic leather. This material comes closest to matching the look of most saddles and saddle bags. The nylon shell actually wears better than leather, is easier to clean, resists fading, and is waterproof. It also can withstand temperatures down to -20 below zero. Both ends of the bag have large exterior pockets that are fastened by Velcro and a reflective side release buckle. Unlike other products, the Bikers Friend Saddle Bag has two large interior pockets (one on each end of the bag) that use high quality zippers for added wear and security. The bag has openings at both ends. A padded handle is sewn into the bag for easy carrying and heavy duty side release buckles (on top of the bag) keep the end flaps

Apologies. I was going by the feel and smell. That usually works well on other things. ;) The inner core is PVC so collapsing isn't a worry.
