Default HD premium oil cooler vs ???

We are thinking about putting on HD premium oil cooler on our street bob because we do a lot of stop and go traffic riding.

We've noticed HD oil cooler doesn't come with fans, so this could be a lot of wasted money in heavy stop and go traffic.

Do you have any other brands that are reliable and perform way better than HD oil cooler?

I've got a Jagg low mount with the fan. I don't have any direct comparison to the HD, but I know it works well and I've never heard of anybody having an issue with one. They're not cheap though.

Thanks man let me google that product thanks for the info. Does it fit easily without having to mod the frame of my bike?

Just checked their product they said it doesn't fit my 2015 street bob

Fit mine with no other modifications. Not sure what would be different on your 2015. Maybe they just haven't updated their website info yet?

I have the non fan Jagg oil cooler on my 15 bob. I actually have two of them. I can't see why the side mount with the fan wont fit on the bike. They recommend the 10 row with the 103 motor but I didn't want a 2x4 hanging off my bike so I went with two slimline radiators.

In traffic they do keep the bike a little cooler but since they have no fans they are only real affective while moving. I also just added a set of wards fans last night. Haven't had a chance to see how good they are but with the quick ride I did the bike ran a lot cooler with them. Certainly not the cheep way out in the end but I'm happy with the result.

Either the side or low mount with fan should fit your bike fine, I think they just haven't adjusted the website yet. No differences between the 14 and 15 and I know it works fine on the 14 (even though I haven't installed it yet). FWIW I've read that even the non-fan ones are still quite good in that they drop the oil temps pretty quickly as you're moving. I'm also on the fence as to which one to get.

I also went with the Jagg low mount 10-row cooler for my '13 Wide Glide, this should fit your '15 Street Bob with no issues

Amazon.com: Jagg Oil Coolers Horizontal 10 Row Oil Cooler - Low Mount - Black 750-2500: Automotive Amazon.com: Jagg Oil Coolers Horizontal 10 Row Oil Cooler - Low Mount - Black 750-2500: Automotive

A bit spendy but worth the price of admission, I've been documenting the temperature differences using my Power Vision and they're very apparent, the drops in engine and head temperatures in cruising and stop and go traffic are running 30 - 40 degrees lower than before the cooler. I have decided to upgrade the oil feed and return lines and fittings but not for any other reason then I'm a firm believer in overkill
