If there's no fuel pump in it you'll need a carburetor.

There are maybe two threads about this subject with pictures, but not near as many as you would think. I love the idea but really don't know what tank to recomend. I ran an ironhead sporty tank on my superglide shovel, but that doesn't help you. Hopefully those who did it will post up.

I just got done doing this mod to my dyna... first hurdle is a new tunnel for the backbone... second is the fuel pump... 3rd is size since it won't reach both tank mounts you have to drill the backbone for bottom mount or top whichever you want space at.

www.zombieperformance.com makes a flange that you'll need to mount the fuel pump.

HD or ebay for the actual fuel pump - about $200 (ebay) - $350+ (harley)

I'm posting up a build thread soon... just waiting on paint.

You can also contact Cory at www.maindrivecycle.com he can put a tank together for you ready to go on the Dyna.

Thanks.
still lots to be done. Wheels were just shipped out today and tank is now in paint... will post up a build thread when it's all done. 6 long years...

Hope this gives you some hope Gartec, it can be done and don't worry about Harley saying the sporty fuel pump won't work... it is a champ.
