'93 FXDWG brake light stuck on
 

Hey Y'all,

Just got a 1993 fxdwg, first bike. There are a couple issues with it, the first being that the brake light is stuck on (the taillight is always bright). I have a service manual shipping to me but I was hoping someone might be able to tell me how to diagnose the problem.

More than likely the front brake light switch crapped the bed. I had to replace mine like four years ago. If you take your switch housing a part you should be able to play with the switch and you should be able to get the brake light to go off. I know somebody will have better info but the should get you started

First step is to find out if it is the front or rear switch that is the culprit.Push the opposite way on lever and see if it goes out then u can work from there.
