Default Clutch Cover Gasket

I'm changing the fluids on my new-to-me 2001 FXDXT. The gasket under the stock 5-hole cast aluminum cover is what I believe is called a quad seal. It sits in a groove in the primary cover. I think the part number is 25416-84A. The dealer parts girl is telling me that it's NLA and my Dyna shouldn't even have that type. She's suggesting a 25416-99C, which I think may be a steel disk with a formed in place ring of sealant. From some pictures I've looked at, it looks like that sealant ring is the same diameter as the groove in the primary cover. I'm concerned about how well the 25416-99C will seal against the groove. Do all primary covers have the groove, or are the newer ones flat? What's the best solution if I can't get the quad seal? Anyone have any experience with a James 25416-99-DL?

When I went to the HD skull type clutch cover, I had to change to the gasket type instead of the rubber O ring that came on the bike stock because the new cover didn't have the groove. I've used it through a couple of oil changes and haven't had a problem with it yet.
