Wow, so I'm having a brainfart or something but i have a screamin eagle stage 1 a/c (circular type) and i just purchased a crankcase breather kit for it. only problem is that the breather bolts that came with the drag specialties c/c breather are too short. it's either this or the set of instructions worth using as toilet paper. the c/c breather is 2 breather screws, 2 banjo fittings, 4 step washers and 2 reg washers.

If what I am trying to do is right, the main problem would be the S/E back plate for the head mounts are too thick, thus the breather screw won't reach the fittings in the head.

You sure the kit is supposed to work with that SE A/C? Most of those kind of kits are designed to work with other manufacturer's aftermarket A/Cs, the kind that use a mounting bracket rather a one-piece backing plate.

 

Found out the hard way, now it can work with custom breather bolts that you can cut to size...but the bolts are 67$ for 2....I'm just gonna wait it out for the event that i do something more radical with an air cleaner. welp good thing it was free or else it looks like i'd be out 60$
