Progressive 444's

I bought a set of progressive 444's for my street bob part #444-4039b. Has anyone mounted these yet and give me a detailed explanation of how to do it? Progressive installation directions leave much to be desired. Thanks.

It's basically just lift the back of the bike and undo the 4 bolts and reinstall 4 bolts with the new shock.

However, I just put 440's on mine and needed to add spacers for clearance. You may need to do the same.

Did u make the spacers or what? None came with the shocks...

Actually, I bought mine at Daytona Bike Week and part of the deal was free installation. They had the spacers right there in the tool box.

They are a fatter shock than stock. The spacers allow it to clear the fender. Once you get that right though, it's really an easy installation. Just remember to locktite those bolts. You definately don't want to take a chance on them backing out.

I would think that any good auto parts store would have spacers.
