Waterman, you have way to much time on your hands. The idea of a forum is to exchange ideas, learn and show off. That is what everyone here likes to do.
I have read all the posts and have not gotten to the answer I was looking for.
Based on all the responses from my posts, everyone seems interested and eager to show their bike and why it is better. I appreciate their ideas.
I asked the loudest on a street bob, because I wanted to see pictures and which pipes looked the best. I could care less which pipes look good on a wide glide.
Im happy you are able to own up to your mistakes. Ask a few dumb questions, you might learn something.

I have Vance & Hines Big Radius pipes w/Standard baffles on my Street Bob. I couldn't believe how much louder than stock they are. In fact, I leave for work at 5:30am every day and I'm rolling my bike out of the garage and down the driveway before I start it just so I don't tork off my neighbors. BTW, most of the V & H pipes look great on the Street Bob, I just happened to like the Big Radius. Also, if you want loud for the sake of being loud, just about any pipe will fit that bill. But, if you want performance, looks and volume, then do some more research, check out some dyno charts, then factor in what the pipes will look like on your bike and make your decision.
Good luck in your search....

I'm a big fan of V&H, as I've said. Just thought I'd throw in, if it's noise you want, Creative Cycle (Doug Keim) here in NJ makes a pipe called the L-M-F. I can tell ya that the L=Loud and the M=Mother. Since I'm always in trouble with the mods, you're gonna have to figure out F all by yourself...

I think they may be a bit too short to improve performance, but the one's I've heard are loug..

thunderheader most likley the loudest if you like the 2-1 look. some also say they make more power than other pipes. don't have dyno numbers on mine but it woke up mine. more power and louder than my neighbors ever wanted it to be. they wish the bike was gone and the gto was back. ha ha.
