Default Dougz Chin Spoiler (Pictures)

I bought a Dougz.com Chin Fairing and I snapped a few pictures and figured Id share. The spoiler is very well built. Simple to install and looks pretty cool. (My in opinion anyway.) What do you think?

Theres a base that bolts to the front motor mount. You loosen the bottom bolt flip the base upside down then snug up the bolt (just enough to be able to swing it around) then take out the top mount bolt, swing the base around and tighten the bolts up. Then bolt the spoiler up to the base. Its pretty simple. Took me 10 minutes to do if that

Honest opinion?

It looks like an afterthought down there, like it was just stuck on.

I've always been a fan of chin fairings but there needs to be more to it.

For example...

Just contacted them (Dougz) myself.. they had one on a display bike in their add.. and it seemed much more snug up against the frame than did the one they sold you for your bike.. but Im totally digging the look.. was thinking of doing one myself.. they look like they have alot more "flex" than the more "brittle" looking HD model.. which to me is also way overpriced..

got special plans for my "spoiler" no matter the version..

But damn.. toastman nailed it with that pic he provided too... decisions decisions..

I have an HD chin spoiler and have always like them. It is rock solid and keeps the front part of the engine and frame clean. I have my True-Track installed under mine so it may stick out more than some like...however, I do agree with toastmans picture, that one looks great!

I like the headlight fairing. Which one is it?

For the record, reaper, I wasn't saying yours looks bad at all, please don't take that from my post.

I just think it'd be a more finished look if the fairing extended up the frame tubes and covered the regulator.
